Syd Capsule

The Syd Capsule is an example of a custom capsule wardrobe we designed for our client Syd Bell.

When we first met on Zoom, I loved Syd’s energy and the way they use tailoring. It’s not about business clothing or quote-on-quote “classic menswear”. Nor is it about bold colors or splashy patterns. This one is purely about fit, texture and casual tailoring for any occasion from day to night. 

Syd is also a tough fit - with long arms, square shoulders and a lean physique - which makes it really hard to find anything off the rack. And with most "custom tailors" focused primarily on suiting, it’s equally hard to find custom casual clothing that has enough swagger. 

This capsule includes 10 items that were designed for Syd (see the photo gallery for some of the many outfits that can be created by mixing-and-matching only these 10 items).

• Milk & Sugar seersucker shacket in black
• Milk & Sugar seersucker trouser in black
• Milk & Sugar seersucker vest in black
• Crawford cardigan in paprika
• Syd band collar shirt in grey
• Bell glenplaid shirt in monochrome
• Shaw stretch cotton trouser in cream
• Ricardo textured polo in black
