How does sizing work?

Do I need to return my try-on garment?

Nope. Your try-on garments is custom made for you, and yours to keep.

Do you offer in-person appointments?

At this time, out of respect for the health and safety of our staff and clients, we are not booking any in-person appointments. AOS is operating purely online. We are an online-first brand and we are proud to be serving the best of American menswear to clients in more than 30 countries worldwide.

How long does it take to get a garment from Articles of Style?

If you're a first-time customer, your custom try-on garment will arrive approximately 4 weeks after your order is placed. After you upload your try-on fitting, all final orders will arrive in approximately 8 weeks. Shipping times vary by distance.

*Please note lead times are approximations, and can be shorter or longer based on production volume.

*Also note, our tailors work hard and receive a bi-annual 2 week vacation; once at the beginning of August and once around the holidays in December. Orders in process over vacation periods will experience an approximate 3-4 week delay.

Do you offer a rush service?

Yes we do, for most of the year (excluding vacation periods and heavy production times). When rush service is available, it can be added as an option at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we ship worldwide! Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.

 

Please note import duties and customs fees vary by country and are the responsibility of the customer.

Can I customize my garment?

Garment customization is available on a limited basis, and can be discussed via zoom or phone appointment.

Do you have additional fabrics available?

We will be releasing new fabrics and designs weekly. Sign up for our email list to get updates when new products drop.

We do have access to additional fabrics and colorways of the fabrics shown on our website. Custom fabrics are available via Zoom/Phone appointment.

I’m interested in feeling some of your fabrics, can you mail me samples?

Absolutely. We can mail you physical swatches of any fabrics shown on our website. See more information here.

Please note that fabric samples ship directly from our partner mills around the world. They are shipped separately and can vary in shipping method and delivery time.

Do you offer bulk order discounts?

We sure do. Take a look at our "Capsules" in the shop. 

Substitutions are available, and we can design a custom package just for you.

Do you offer a discount for US military members?

If a fabric is sold out, will it come back in stock?

Probably not. Get it while its hot.

Can I supply my own fabric for an order?

Sure - as long as it's a fabric that is intended for menswear. Contact us for pricing and details.

How are your suits packaged and shipped?

AoS garments are shipped in large “coffin boxes” with the garment(s) vertically hanging on a suit hanger and covered in a protective garment bag.

 

Please note that due to the value of our packages, a signature is required upon delivery.

I’m big & tall, do you have a maximum size you can fit?

Absolutely not.  We can fit all shapes and sizes.

Can I gift AoS to a friend?

Can women order?

Absolutely! We make traditional menswear, but we can make it for any body type and fit preference. Please describe your body as accurately as possible when you create your AoS account. We may also email you for additional body measurements, and general fit preferences, before we start cutting your custom try-on garment.

Do you offer personal styling advice (for clothes that are not AOS)?

In fact we do. Our head stylist Westley Dimagiba helps many of our clients with their entire wardrobe - jeans, boots, knitwear - all that. He has expanded his styling business beyond AOS and is available for a Zoom/Phone appointment to talk about your style and wardrobe - whatever that looks like for you. Contact us for details. 

Alterations and Returns

What is your alteration policy?

Since every AOS garment is custom-made, and we want to ensure that you love the final fit, your first order might require minor alterations upon delivery.

When your final garment arrives, upload a new fitting to your AOS account (just like your initial fitting in your try-on garments). Our tailoring team will review the fit and advise you on the alterations needed to properly adjust the garment(s). Simply email us a photo of the receipt from your local tailor, and we will reimburse you for the cost of the alterations. Once you are completely satisfied with the fit of your final garment, we will update your pattern with all the changes so your next order(s) arrive fitting spot-on out of the box.

If you gain or lose weight, you can always update the fit of your garment by uploading another fitting to your AOS account. Our tailoring team will review the fit, advise you on the alterations, and update your pattern again for your next order(s). Our garments are crafted with additional fabric in the seams to give you greater flexibility in case you change shape.

Every AOS purchase includes a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not happy with your garments or experience for any reason, you can always return them for a complete refund.

What is your return policy?

When you shop with Articles of Style, you are commissioning some of the most skilled artisans in America to hand-make a custom product just for you. Due to the nature of this process and product, we do not offer returns or exchanges.

We cover any alterations needed, with no limit. And we remake garments when necessary.

We take great pride in satisfying our customers and our entire business model relies on your continued business. 

Over the past five years we've delivered thousands of custom garments all over the world with less than <1% requiring remakes.

The secret is our online-bespoke fitting process and the team of expert tailors who personally review your fitting photos and read your feedback.

What is your cancellation policy.

If an order is cancelled before the final garment is delivered, a $300 development fee will be subtracted from your refund (this is for the cosy of your custom made try-on garments as well as the pattern work that went into your order).
