1 Piece/3 Ways: Forest Tweed Suit

Every Articles of Style suit is designed so that the components can also be worn as a separate jacket, trouser and vest.

We created the “1 piece/3 ways” series to give you some ideas on how you can style a timeless suit for different occasions; so you can get the most out of your garments and learn to build a sustainable wardrobe with style.

In this edition, we show you three ways to wear our Forest Tweed Suit.

1. Wes

If you have a Fall/Winter suit in a shade of dark green - your next purchase should be a camel hair topcoat.

That combo is tasty no matter how you slice it.

2. Ignacio

Man in a dark green tweed blazer and gray trousers, paired with a gray vest and fedora, exuding classic menswear style.

Ignacio is a master at mixing and matching different suits.

Here, he's got the green tweed suit jacket with a charcoal flannel suit trouser, and the vest from a different flannel suit.

3. Dan

Like Ignacio, I also like to mix suit pieces - but I rarely do three different suits together.

I prefer to find two suit fabrics that look great together, and make their contrast the main interest of an outfit.

Here, it's the forest tweed suit and the rust hopsack vest.

Thanks, as always, for reading.

Yours in style,

Dan Trepanier
