The Classic Americana Capsule featuring Albert Matlock

The Classic Americana Capsule is an example of a custom capsule wardrobe we designed for our client Alert Matlock.

Albert is getting married in November - so priority #1 was locking down a beautiful classic tuxedo for his big day. Albert is also staring a new career - so he thought this would be a great opportunity to give his overall wardrobe a refresh. 

Albert is a super sweet guy with classic American style. He's a graduate of Cornell University so he has a bit of Ivy influence in his style and he works in midtown NYC where he needs to look smart, professional and dependable.

So we created the "Classic Americana Capsule" for Albert. It has 15 items - all staples of classic menswear - that can be mixed-and-matched to create at least 50+ different outfits (see the image gallery for some

The Johnny is a timeless long-sleeve polo shirt updated with the perfect fit and made from a super-finItalian merino wool that is famous for its soft hand and supreme comfort. 

The Sean is a classic turtleneck with an updated fit made from a super-soft, lightweight fine Italian merino yarn that is extremely comfortable and versatile.

Our Signature Flannel Suit is crafted from a legendary flannel fabric made in Italy by Vitale Barberis Canonico. The classic flannel suit is one of the most beloved garments in all of menswear. Our Signature Pencil Stripe Shirt is cut from a beautiful 4-season cotton fabric rendered with the perfect pencil stripe. Everything works together in any combination (he can't make any mistakes) and he can easily (and quickly) create outfits for any occasion - from formal, to business, to casual.

This allows him to get the most out of each item and keep a cohesive, streamlined closet.

When investing in a wedding tux, it's a good idea to keep it classic and timeless. This way it can serve as the only tuxedo you need for years - if not decades - to come.
