In 2009 Dan was named "Best-Dressed Real Man in America" by Esquire Magazine, announced live on the Today Show.

Menswear Designer

In 2012 Dan graduated from the exclusive Menswear Design program at the Fashion Institute of New York, where his final collection was displayed in the college's museum. His design philosophy centers around timeless design, natural materials and versatile wardrobe packages.

Dan is considered one of the foremost experts on menswear in America. His blog has millions of readers worldwide and he has been featured in GQ, Esquire, Men’s Health, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Sports Illustrated, The Today Show, MSNBC and many other publications.

Educator

Dan is a public speaker who has contributed to panels hosted by New York Fashion Week, the Custom Tailors Association of America, and also teaches a class called "Dressing for Success" at Columbia University in the Ivy League. Through his blog he has taught a generation of men (and women) the value of "slow fashion" via thoughtful, intentional consumption.

Master Fitter

From 2010-2015 Dan apprenticed for a bespoke tailor in New York City where he became a master fitter. He has fit and delivered more than 10,000 custom garments in his career - for people of all shapes & sizes, in more than 30 countries worldwide.

Basketball Player

Dan played Division 1 basketball for Columbia University from 2005-2009, where he studied psychology. He continues to train young players - and humble those who think they are nice (see video link below):

Dan is a father to 2 beautiful kids and a husband to an even more beautiful wife.

Dan has worked with celebrities, actors, athletes, musicians, CEOs, politicians, and people in just about every industry. He credits his degree in psychology for being able to "meet people where they are, and help them elevate themselves."
