This is a rare authentic Harris Tweed in a subtle navy glenpaid. The real OG of menswear fabrics, in all of its rough, rugged and indestructible glory. This legendary textile is only woven in the Outer Hebrides islands of Lewis and Harris, off the western coast of Scotland where the land is wild, windy and world famous. Harris Tweed, which is the only cloth in the world protected by an act of British parliament to conserve its heritage and authenticity, has been produced in this area for centuries. It’s hand-woven on small looms and every batch is inspected by the Harris Tweed Association, a committee dedicated to stamping and numbering each roll of cloth with the “Orb” trademark of authenticity before it leaves the mill. This means that these fabrics are only produced in small quantities and are highly sought after around the world.
