Sometimes the King is a Woman

Sometimes the King is a Woman

Today kicks off Women's History Month and I couldn't think of a more appropriate time to announce our first women's collection.

Although, the truth is, we've been doing bespoke tailoring for women for years now (anybody can shop online with AOS).

That's actually what I love about bespoke. It's not about "menswear", or gender, or stereotypes at all. It's about the individual; their body, their style, their identity.

"Fashion" has a way of making people feel excluded. It makes you fit a certain mold or wear a certain style. Tailoring, on the other hand, is about the individual, about service and about inclusion.

This month we will be releasing a "women's collection" for SS21 - although anybody can shop any of the garment in our shop. What's more important than which "section" you shop in is the personal information you provide in your AOS profile. Here you can describe your gender, your body, your style, your preferences, etc. We take pride in getting to know each of our clients and performing personal fittings for each individual.

Lastly, I want to thank the dynamic women behind this collection who made it all possible; my wife Karyn for helping design and model the collection, our head of fittings Morgane Press for all her work on patterns and development and the newest member of our team Nikki Ziehl who has brought us a fresh energy and a new perspective.

AOS WOMENSWEAR - available starting March 3 2021.

Yours in style,

Dan Trepanier
