What I Wore Today: Thanksgiving Eve

November 23rd, 2016

Rule #1 of Articles of Style: bring your “A Game” every day!

Thanksgiving Eve!

Use the comments section below to tell us whose style you’re appreciating today.

Will’s giving our new “brown melange windowpane” fabric a test-run today, in a makeshift 3-piece that combines a thin wool cardigan and our classic USA oxford shirt (customized with a band collar).

Wes is feeling blue today in a mix of custom tailoring and vintage finds. He’s also really good at dusting off long-lost “Style Blogger” pieces, like this early Black Fleece trench coat that we had Franklin chop years ago.

Going with some of my favorite Fall colors – greens and browns – before we have to break out the heavy artillery for Winter.

    Thanks, as always, for reading.

    Yours in style,

Beautiful button choice on the sleeve of that suit jacket, Dan. That light brown, camel tortoise-shell-ish color is a really nice accent to the loafers.

Can’t pick between Will and Wes. The Navy monochrome and perfect fit are on point. But the way Will makes a suit look casual and comfy with the cardigan layer is great.

      Dan for me this time!

I know you’re selling suits here, but I for one would like to see more streetwear or casual/purposeful clothing. I like Wes’ effort but Will’s outfit is the most eye-catching and well rounded.

Will, that suit is on point.

I went with will and his “Thom Browne” 3-piece

Wes for not wearing a suit every day

This one was super tight, I gave it to Wes, for nailing the (mainly) monochromatic look.
Also, am I the only one that thinks that in that picture Will looks like an adult version of Kevin McAllister from Home Alone…

Had to give it to Wes. I love a monochromatic Navy outfit esp with that oatmeal (scarf or cardi) peeking through.
