“Guests From the Past”

Use the comments section below to tell us who’s style you’re appreciating today.

    Angel Ramos

One advantage of being a world-class clothier like Angel Ramos is, of course, a collection of immaculately cut suits, like this cool grey subtle glenplaid.

    Jason Andrew

Speech pathologist Jason Andrew (one of our favorite profiles of all time) knows a thing or two about layering. Today he’s working with a little country inspiration in the city, including a canvas barn jacket, fishing vest, and a denim shirt that he cut the collar off of.

    Steven Santander

NYC architect Steven Santander, otherwise known as Mr. subtle color combos, is working today with a smooth brown & grey combo, together with a couple shades of green. Extra points for the re-cutting of that vintage double-breasted jacket.

Wes is not always in a badass tailored suit. Sometimes he’s in a badass suede biker jacket, a linen band collar shirt (his signature), some waxed denim, and a sharp tassel loafer.

Jason kills it today for me :) Wes is close second (I am not 100% sure I like the loafers and the biker jacket combination though).

Both are sporting band collar shirts which are growing on me. I guess tomorrow I will modify one of mine I was about to throw away :)

    • James Wong

I actually love all that looks today!

So sad there’s no full length shot of wes though

    • AdamE

Killer looks all around. Top 3 for me were Angel, Jason and Wes. I’ll give the narrow win to Wes, because he nailed that tricky city casual type vibe…

    • Don Draper

Angel was my favourite, that exceptional tie choice with that colour suit and pattern is just so bossy. Close second is Wes with that flawless casual style.

    • mario medina

the cut of angel suit is very nice, the roomy chest, the sloped shoulders, the angle of the collar and the lappels, amazing. i notice a lot a napolitan cut, except the quarters; very english, very straigth, i dont have a problem with it, but maybe is showing the tie and shirt a little bit, have you think about it, or are you okay with that?

    • Ryan

      Adore Westley! Chic!

    • Sapprentice

I very much appreciate Jason’s built-up of the outfit and his use of colour. Yet, I love the way how Wes built his ‘city-chique’ look. Wes get my votes for this week!

    • David

It’s a tie between Angel and Steven for me today for the winner, but as usual everyone looks killer.

Angel’s suit is exquisitely cut, and the roomier silhouette really suits him. I also really like Jason’s outfit, although I would have gone with a more tailored pair of trousers (walking through a puddle with suede loafers should be a crime, though!).

But… I have to give it to Mr. Cool Wes! The jacket alone sold me, great combo for a night out in town.

    • Miguel

I have to go with Angel today, the shot on top is a great composition, the suit speaks for itself as it’s a subtle plaid, it seems to be linen mix with silk, I think.

    • Shawn

Angel, very nice combination. Is it me or did you cut your trousers a little more roomy with this iteration? They don’t seem as tight as your other trousers I’ve seen in previous looks! I like! Also, IWC Portuguese? If so, wonderful choice!

That picture of the double monk sole-deep in the water puddle makes me cringe..!

Wes; what hair styling product gives you that awesome pompadour?

      • http://angelbespoke.tumblr.com/ Angel Ramos

Hey Shawn, good eye brother! Yes, been going lately for a roomier fit yet lending towards my neapolitan inspiration. Yep you nailed the IWC.

My vote is for Angel. Are you guys going to do another feature with him? I know he’s popped up in some WIWT posts but would love to see what he’s got cooked up for this Spring/Summer!

    • http://www.jollybengali.net/ Malcolm

I like Angel’s look especially the tie he chose but those glasses are far too narrow and don’t frame his face properly.
Wes’ hair… wow, do you do that yourself or go to a stylist every frickin’ day?

      • http://angelbespoke.tumblr.com/ Angel Ramos

HA Such a great eye, I actually forgot my personal frames and felt naked, so I borrowed my photographer’s frame. So True! THey were painful! haha

      • http://www.tsbmen.com/ Westley Dimagiba

I wish I had a stylist to do my hair for shoots hah

    • http://Keyboardandcompass.com/ Jeff McAllister

Holy shit those shots of Jason are heavily stylized. My vote’s got to go to the dude Wes though. That jacket is just sublime!

    • facelessghost

I didn’t love Jason’s feature a while back, but he looks great today. Best of the bunch by far, in my opinion.

    • Harvey

Wes: Did you get the BLK Suede jacket from Gilt by any chance? Really wanted to snatch it but out of my budget :(

      • http://www.tsbmen.com/ Westley Dimagiba

Fortunately, I have a friend who works for BLK DNM.
