Capsule Wardrobe: Fall’s Finest
November 3rd, 2016
Rule #2 of AoS (after “always bring your A game“): Buy less, Buy better.
A smart wardrobe is one built around versatility and longevity. Ideally, the majority of your garments can be mixed-and-matched to create different outfits for different occasions, for years to come. This not only allows you to create a more consistent personal style, but it saves you money in the long run, and most importantly, saves the planet!
To illustrate this concept, here’s a new installment of our “Capsule Wardrobe” series, where we give an example of a well-curated wardrobe built around, what else, an unstructured suit in a seasonal fabric. Today we highlight the Small Batch Burgundy (a rare blend of wool, linen, silk & cashmere) from our FW16 Collection.
Here are 10 pieces that make 5 outfits for 5 different occasions.
The 10 Pieces
- Tobacco cashmere topcoat
- Small batch burgundy suit
- Salmon bengal stripe oxford shirt
- Denim spread collar shirt
- Beige waffle knit crewneck sweater
- Brown belted shawl cardigan
- Indigo denim jeans
- Chocolate brown monkstrap loafers
- Cognac leather chelsea boots
- Wool/linen burgundy scarf
