What to Wear to a Summer Wedding

April 8th, 2016

We must be getting to that age… It seems like my beautiful fiancé Karyn and I have a wedding to attend every month for the rest of the year.

With that as an inspiration, I designed a handful of suits for our Spring/Summer collection that are perfect for tropical celebrations.

If you’re looking for some classy summer tailoring, here are some ideas.

What heels are the female model wearing?

Question: I was recently invited to a black tie wedding in May in Virginia. I have a black db tuxedo that I was planning to wear. However, I have these cream colored pants that I’d prefer to wear instead of the tuxedo pants – appropriate?

Quite simply the best work Alex has ever done. Hope my dad likes the sand linen trousers!

What a great post, and fantastic photography. Putting aside the beauty of the photography, just from the technical standpoint, this is some of (if not the) the best work I’ve seen on the site.

On the post itself, the one thing that still blows my mind in the wedding industry, is the general aversion to seasonal dressing for the guys… Save for destination weddings down south, where by necessity, more guys tend to opt towards warm-weather appropriate looks, in general it’s tuxedo (and unfortunately, generally of the horrible rental persuasion) or “4-season” suiting at most weddings, rather than embracing fabrics that suit the setting and season… Hopefully guys take note of this one…
With my wife being a planner, I often give the grooms two pieces of advice, buy, don’t rent, and go custom (and I often suggest the place I deal with and the consultant there who I’ve generally dealt with, who I know is biased towards season fabrics, and is not afraid to go outside the box)…

The seersucker looks great and the Alex is nuts on the photography!

Hands down the best photography I’ve seen on the site ever. I saw these pictures in my email and I had to show them to my wife. She was blown away just like me. Well done Dan and great suiting ideas for summer!

Looking great guys! I’ll take the seersucker. The wife wants to know who Karyn is wearing? Classy & unique dresses.

That moment where you’ve been together so long you start looking like siblings. Don’t worry man, my girl and I get it ALL the time.

That happens every once in a while with my SO and I. It’s awkward to say the least.
