Earth Tones

March 11th, 2016

Having a hard time putting colors together? Here’s a tip: look to mother nature.

The color palates created by the great outdoors are naturally comforting to the eye, flattering on any skin tone and usually make for very versatile garments. Not to mention, the color combo inspiration can be seen all around you!

With that in mind we hit the mountains of northern Los Angeles to illustrate how earthtones, in combination with proper tailoring (of course), could be the most refreshing addition to your long-term wardrobe.

      Fantastic !
The olive waistcoat is unreal (& the best piece to tie the earth tones together imo). Great job Alex, making Dan’s vision come to life in nature!

This post is perfect. The looks and the photography is killer.
Dan, I saw your interview on the Concierge Gentleman’s Gazette recently – very good watch, man and interesting to hear you talk about clothing rather than reading a post.

This post is so killer for so many different reasons… It’s a great way to approach colour matching, the looks are all killer, and the photography is stunning (Alex hit it out of the park on this one).
