The Style Guide is BACK

January 27th, 2016

When we took down our Style Guide for maintenance a few months ago, we were shocked at how many messages we received and how much people missed it. So, I’m happy to say, it’s back!

The Style Guide allows you to easily filter through our entire library of content (spanning more than five years) to discover thousands of different outfits. You can filter the outfits by Season, Occasion, and/or particular Clothing Item. It’s designed to be a personal styling tool; to make suggestions based on your lifestyle and the items you already have in your wardrobe.

You can use the filters one at a time, or in any combination. For example, you can search “Business” looks for the “Fall/Winter”, or search “Casual” outfits containing “Black Jeans”. Our library of looks is updated every day we publish a new editorial, and it’s always a great way to discover older content that you may have missed.

Thanks, as always, for reading and I hope you enjoy this version of the Style Guide.

Thanks, as always, for reading. If you have any questions about our online custom menswear, feel free to contact us anytime. We look forward to serving as your personal tailor and stylist.

Yours in style,

It would be great if the guide would work on iPad

When will it be available for mobile phones?

    • Dan Trepanier

Working on it! Can’t give a timeline yet, but we are steadily working on some updates, especially on the mobile user interface…

  • Cham

Too bad it’s not mobile ready, I expected it to be after such a long absence.

      Me too…

Most browsers have a setting that allow you to request the desktop version of a webpage. Obviously it’s not super easy to navigate like a dedicated mobile solution, but it’s enough to help you out in a pinch.

Christmas in January! Now all I need is my TSB coffee table book. 5 years or 15 years ago, your looks are timeless. The definition of a true gent….play on playa!

I cant tell you how glad I am it is back. It should help your engagement. In fact, i think you should launch a stand alone style guide app – with links to stuff you want to sell.

  • Alex

Best thing that’s happened since the start of 2016 xD

  • Michael

Can’t tell you how happy I am to see this back! I was literally just watching TSB videos on Youtube, came across the ‘New Style Guide Fundraiser’ video and came here to find it back up and running. Excellent work, as always.

    Excellent news, always useful.

Glad to see this back up. Which brings up a question. There’s been a few times that I looked for old articles that I enjoyed or liked a look from, only to find that they no longer exist. Or clicking on the archives by year links only to see that many of the old posts are not there (I’ve seen that some old posts have had comments cleared as well – all that brilliance I dropped in the comments section snuffed out! Of course I can claim it was brilliant since it’s no longer available to scrutiny). Is this just a remnant of switching to a new format? Will the full archives be made available?

“…all that brilliance I dropped in the comments section snuffed out!” Hilarious!! I’ve noticed this too, but I just assumed that, as you said, was maybe because of switching to different format.

    • tommyjohn_45

Yeah I thought I was losing my mind for a little while. Had been trying to track down some of the great travel posts from the past and tried every keyword imaginable haha.

      • JoeFromTexas

little secret between you and me – use Google to search. Search for your key words and add articles of style or the style blogger.

Everything in brackets is hilarious in your comment, Texas Joe.

Finally!! Not that I use it often when it was up, but it’s good to know that I can search content from way back or look at outfit suggestions when I want. I just don’t want it to be back up for a week and then have maintenance like it did the other times. Hoping all goes well!
