Where the hell was the love for Tim T? Dude absolutely killed it!!!!! Brown. Double Breasted. Blazer. With. Gold. Buttons. That’s MJ 4th quarter buzzer beater w/.23 seconds to go on the clock.

  • Kevin T.

Stiff competition this month. In the end, had to give it to Colton. Those green suede wingtips f*cked the whole game up.

  • Marcus Forlan

This one was v. tough – went with Nagy in the end.

TSB Team – curious, how many contestants enter these things ? Just wondering how heated the debates get at your studio :-).

    • http://tsbmen.com Dan Trepanier

Depends on the month, could be 50-500. Inevitably there are initial favorites, but a lot of people are really close to making it. Tough decisions have to be made. It gets heated because every team members’ opinion counts, and because our styles are different, we take sides with certain entries. All in good fun. These giveaways have been great.

      Thanks for your support.

This was the hardest vote yet – great looks!

  • Jaws

I was wondering how this site manages to create revenue and employ a team? This seems like a bizarre concept to many people in menswear – what is the primary financial source if this is a business? Online ads? I find it hard to believe that this blog can provide a substantial living to a group of people – since, as you must realize, a lot of your content is very similar to textbook #menswear type people across the board.

    • Jaws

Similar to a plethora of #menswear sources*

    • Jack

Aww you must be new to the Internet. I would suggest you go to http://www.google.com and type in “how websites make money”.

    • http://tsbmen.com Dan Trepanier

Hmmm… It’s a little more complicated and diverse than that. Buy me a beer sometime and I can explain our business model. The primary variable, is loyal fans and commenters like you Jaws, which is why we’re always thanking our readers for allowing us to do this.

  • ernie

Pat Bateman’s been reincarnated! Well done, Greg

  • John

    Voted for Konstantinos, good luck!

  • http://www.km-lawoffice.gr Konstantinos

Looking over and over the rest of the contestants, I say WELL DONE Colton. Great outfit, great watch, great tie, great shoes ! I would definitely weat it as well !

  • dublude

I love Nagy L.’s one it’s casaul and stylish in the same way

    • http://www.stilmasculin.ro Nagy L

  • John

    I voted for KONSTANTINOS M.

I must say that his outfit is almost perfect. Another watch type ( brown leather ) would have been a better choice, in my opinion, but even so, it’s awesome! Congrats!

No. 7 and 8 are well dressed aswell, but they are no match for Konstantinos!

    • http://www.km-lawoffice.gr Konstantinos

You’re right for the watch. Thanks !

  • Pepe

I vote for Adam P.Good pants and Barry Pepper’s grin…..

  • M.

    I voted for William C.
I don’t think the 36% for Nagy is justified, although he is
the best dressed along with William.

    • Marcus Forlan

Yea – the scores seem curiously one sided. Nagy (I did vote for him) is so far ahead.

Seems like if you have your buddies in your home town / internet circle voting for you, you are a lock to win… lol.

I think a case can be made for every look here to win tho so all good.

      • http://www.stilmasculin.ro Nagy L

        Thanks for your support.

  • http://eightgiants.com josh

Nagy L.’s look is fresh and all its own. It feels outside of the usual criteria of looks for spring, but Nagy says “eff you” this is how I feel about spring haha.

  • KautiousNupe

I personally like Andrew W and Marshall M.’s looks the best!

  • cam

tim t’s hair alone is better than everyone else’s entire fit. DONE and DONE!

  • Patrick

#2 looks just like the actor Barry Pepper. Is that a real person, or did someone just submit a photo of the actor?

    • Anonymous

LOL. I was thinking the same thing when I first saw that photo.

  • Andrew

William, you’re KILLING it with that hat dude! Props!

    • Kyle Leon Norville

I concur. I had to nod my head and vote the minute I peeped the outfit. Excellent!

    • http://wacavenue.blogspot.com Theguybehindthelens

Thanks man I really appreciate the compliment, I try to wear various types of hats with most of my looks. Lougè Delcy, who was featured on this site for transitional dressing, definitely inspires my head wear game. http://www.dapperlou.com
      -William C

  • LouCaves

    3) Tim T. becuase I’ve worn that basic combo. Those slip-on tassels are sweet.

    2) Andrew W. because I basically wear that combo outside of work everyday.

    1) Konstantinos M. because the combo subtly matches and flows nicely from top to bottom. The stripes, solids, colors are very well put together.

    Good luck, Konstantinos M.

    • LouCaves

…and he has a watch on too! Can we look at our wrists and not a cell-phone for the time?

Re: watches, a good man once told me if you don’t respect your time then no one will.

    • http://www.km-lawoffice.gr Konstantinos

I’m really happy you liked it Lou ! Thanks a lot !

    • Bateman

Another vote for Konstantinos. Great look! Light grey sportscoat with navy pants is a nice combo. Also like the way the shoes contrast with the pants.

  • MJ

I’m surprised Greg made this list. I disagree that he is wearing a “well-tailored” suit. The pants look ridiculously short and the shoulders…ugh the shoulders. The jacket is not a good fit.

  • Susan

William has the best look, not overdone, and his pose is relaxed.

  • Dave P

Konstantinos for me, although as I spent most of the time I spent in Athens sweating profusely, I have no idea how he manages to wear that blazer as it looks fairly heavy.

He has nailed it. Love William’s laid back vibe and Colton’s shoes. We done guys.

    • http://ww.km-lawoffice.gr KONSTANTINOS

It was ok to wear it that day ! Thanks !

  • Ian K

Voted for Konstantinos great look. Loving Nagy and Williams headgear tho!

  • Troy

Marshall one my vote. Been loving the varsity jacket look lately, and you totally killed it. Where did you get that?

    • Parker

Thanks man! it is actually me in the look, they messed the name up and put my brother’s name haha but i got it at a thrift store here in New Orleans for like $14!!

  • Tjay

Even though I think Nagy or Greg definitely deserve to win this, I just had to go with Marshall because his look is so ideal for a high school/soon-to-be college student like me.

  • Pete

    Konstantinos absolutely killing it.

    • http://ww.km-lawoffice.gr KONSTANTINOS

      Thank you !

  • Victoria

    Great looks, guys!
Voted for William, subtle details, see those striped socks?

And I agree, if you are entering a photo contest, you should send in high quality, sharp images!!

  • http://dapperadvisor.tumblr.com Akil M

I must say the competition keeps getting better and better each month, However I think Colton D. nailed it with that Khaki suit and suede green wingtips, and for $92 you can’t go wrong.

    • http://undefined Colton D.

Thanks! Wingtips are by Sperry, got them for $40!

      • David

Where did you get a slim suit for $50?

        • Cody

Would love to know as well

          • Colton D.

It is from JCP. Bought the suit for $40 and had the legs tapered for $7!

            • Tommy

that is the reason why I voted for you. Looking good on budget.

              • http://undefined Colton D.

                Thanks Tommy!

  • http://ramblingsofawould-berenaissanceman.blogspot Joseph

Had to go with Nagy. I love that monochromatic layered look, especially in blue. But man, William made it hard. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone pull off a hat like that before.

    • http://wacavenue.blogspot.com Theguybehindthelens

Thanks for the hat compliment Joseph. I bought it and was like ok how the hell am I going to wear this without looking like I am on a tropical vacation at the beach. Nagy took the prize for me too. The hat and perfect monochromatic color palette were just killer. The texture of his time and slight pattern to his jacket added just enough extra attention to detail. Major props to Colton for a sharp tailored look that somehow even cost less than mine. The khaki and green are killer together.
      -William C

      • http://www.stilmasculin.ro Nagy L

Thanks for the compliment William. I liked your hat too (i’m a hat lover)

  • Ed

Andrew W. recently won the Style Girlfriend Outfit of the Week:

I still voted for him btw (his workwear looks badass).

  • Paul

    Nagy’s the best ! C’mon Nagy,make us proud !

  • Stephan

Nagy L. hands down. Monochrome done right, especially in tune with the past cold, rainy days in Europe.

Wish I could see his jacket pattern better though. I bet it would’ve made his outfit look even better.

  • Steve

    Nagy L because I love the hat……

    • http://www.stilmasculin.ro Nagy L

Thanks. In my country aren’t so many hat lovers.

  • Jay G.

Is it just me, or does Konstantinos look like Dan?

    • Marcus Forlan

      It’s just you.

    • De.Cay

      I see it.

  • Nico

    Nagy, then Andrew.

About Greg: for european eyes (i’m french), those pants are pretty ridiculous for a suit. At least 3 inches too short.

@TSB Team: please ask people to send nice pictures (see Tim & Ryan).

    • http://www.stilmasculin.ro Nagy L

      Thanks Nico.

  • Brady P

Voted for William, simple, sharp, and comfortable. Great spring looks

  • Kool Chiefrocka Dave

All are very well dressed gents. The work wear look is a great curveball, as you yanks say.

….but for me Mr Konstinos has the best look. Not only in clothing, but in terms of personal grooming, he has a smart, closely cut haircut and beard which complements the neat look.

    • http://ww.km-lawoffice.gr KONSTANTINOS

      Unexpected comment… Thank you !

  • Thomas

Not trying to hate on any of these guys steez, because they are all really well dressed men. But does anyone else feel like the TSB crew choses the top 10 in an almost random manner. Excluding a few of the looks, i think most of these mens style is pretty simple but not exactly creative or even unique. I bet in New York alone you could see thousands and thousands of men who are just as well dressed as these men. When you first started the competition aspect of the site, I expected the top 10 to be GQ street style status. In my opinion, if you look at Tommy Ton’s street style you will see some incredibly stylish men, with both incredible wardrobes and self confidence. Some of those guys pull of some incredible looks.

    • Blard

This is not one of those super fashion-forward blogs though. I feel like a lot of the dudes walking around NYC or any big city are just “peacocking” – in that they’re dressed in crazy clothes because they’re LOOKING to be photographed.

What I like about this site and the men above is that these are normal dudes wearing clothes that you or I could pull off.

      • Real-Type

Trust me, most, but obviously not all, dudes walking around NYC are not thinking about being photographed as they get dressed. Some people simply get dressed.

      • Chad

        Well said Blard.

    • Jack

Keep in mind the contestants also have to submit themselves.

    • Marcus Forlan

Thomas – For me, a big part of style is looking “good”. The guys in street style photos of GQ are extremely creative and I guess take artistic liberties, but often just don’t look good to me. Seems like they are trying to channel their inner Nick Wooster and end up failing.

That said, Nick Wooster is an exception – he manages to look good while being creative and artistic in his presentation.

The looks on this blog look great. At the end of the day that is what style is.
